The 3 rating was given because the envelope I received did not meet the posted swap requirements. 8/6 swap send date 8/7 partner noted sent 8/30 I sent message to partner that swap had not been received 8/30 msg response partner stated she would resend if not received in the next few days 9/5 msg to partner – not received 9/5 msg response will resend 2 weeks plus finally received envelope late September -- – contents did not meet swap requirements I was reluctant to rate a 3 so I set envelope aside while I researched forums concerning rating criteria since I was a swap bot newbie (joined July 2014) Please accept my apologies if you feel the rating was received too late. After a family emergency in October and rating several swaps I had received during my time away from Swap Bot I realized I had not gone back to rate this swap. I debated whether to leave blank or rate a 3, I did not want to give a low rating but also recognize the importance of accurately rating swaps since this is the criteria that Swap Bot is based on. I also wouldn’t want a reputation of being a non rater Again the 3 rating that was given was not due to the lateness of the swap being received but on the swap not meeting swap requirements Swap Description … This does not mean you can send your trash, send only items in good, usable condition. Please do not send items like, your used candy wrappers, or written on apt. card, or loose memo papers or post it scraps, etc. The items I received looked as though someone had reached into their scrap box pulled out a few items to send. Hope this clarifies the rating given. Comment: I'm sorry to rate a '3', but: 1.) I'm not sure the swap met requirements -- this was a Type 3 swap calling for 4 items, and I received (in a regular envelope with a stamp) about 10 small memo sheets (at least one of which had obviously been torn from a notebook) and 3 or 4 stickers. They were cute, but...; 2.) The swap was mailed late -- granted, just a couple of days, but (despite clicking 'sent' on the due date) you didn't contact me until two days later to tell me that you hadn't been able to mail. With both the lateness and the question over whether the swap met requirements, I feel like this rating is necessary. :-(
