The postcards are so fun - Halloween was a very strange holiday back in the day, wasn't it? A Halloween fairy busting out of a nut shell to wish us good luck!!! So weirdly awesome! Response: No, not every page needed a tag but needed a little gift. No where in my description did I expect every page to have a tag. Actually the candy came from GERTRUDE HAWK ... NOT the dollar store. I am sorry the candy was hard. If you have a Gerturde Hawk near you, you can check it out. The little pipe was licorice...... I do NOT send dollar store candy. If I did why would I send the mints that were a well known brand. What I meant by quality was not to send 3-4 teachers stickers, crappy cheap candy which you apparently thought I sent. Comment: I had to give in to temptation and open some early, besides I figured since it is Halloween themed I could probably use it now instead of after Halloween. I could see you crotchet some stuff and I reeeeally want to know what it was so I opened 3. I loved the pot holders, so creative and you crotchet really well. But I couldn't stop there I wanted to see what else you crotcheted and I LOOOOOOOOOVE the witch hat and the skull! I've never seen anything so cute and Halloween crotcheted before! It is such an easy swap and I had a hard hard time figuring out how to make it 'stand out'. So I was amazed when your flowers arrived in my mailbox and I saw how you transformed a simple swap into something wonderful. The 'naked' packaging was awesome, the extras fun, but most of all--the crocheted flowers themselves were special bacause of the tidy work you did and the fact that you used three different patterns! My favorite is the one that looks more like a doily than a flower. Love it! Thanks so much for showing me how to make a simple swap truly heart-worthy. And double thanks for the crocheted flowers!

Response: I sculpted head out of Sculpey. Torso is popsickle sticks wrapped in cheese cloth and this icly stuff that makes it thick. I was worried you wouldn't like it! SO glad you do! I free handed all the amulets with exception of Goddess and the keys, they are molds I got on Etsy.

Response: LOL YOU too? You should see my desk here at work. The girls mess with me when I take a sick day or vacation and mess it up. One time they stuck those google eyes, hundreds of them all over my cubby! They move my stapler, put stuff upside down, remove staples that I HAVE to have ONE in the center of everything and staple the crap out of the paper. It is fun working here.... lol Glad you liked it!

Response: The Farmers Almanac page was from the actual almanac that has been in my DH's family since 1800's. His great great grandmother marked on the pages birthdays, etc. I found one that had not notations. We also have letters from Clarence Darrow to his grandfather but I think he would ahve been a little upset about seending one of those....lol. His granddaddy was a well know attorney and also Deputy Attorney General in upstate NY. We have some awesome memorabelia!

Comment: At first I was sad to see this little elephant in his circus gear. Circuses are MEAN to elephants. Then I realized he escaped! And came to live with me. :) I liberated him from his uniform and he is happy now, and recuperating well. Thanks for helping to rescue him.
Response: User: Oh that was not circus gear..... that was the makeshift saddle his family in Indai used wehn the children rode on him. He loved the children on his back. It made him feel like more of a part of the family! So don't be sad, make sure he gets plenty of exercise though!
