Description:

In this swap I choose a picture by a famous artist and you copy it. It doesn't have to be an exact copy - it can be your interpretation of the painting but it should be based on the original. Oil, watercolour or acrylic and enclose a note with details of the medium used and anything you found interesting about the experience

This months artist is James Christensen and the painting is Evening Angels. Christensen was born in 1942 and raised in Culver City, California. His hope is that through whatever he creates - be it a porcelain, fine art print or book - he can convey a message, inspiration or a simple laugh. He believes that teaching people to use their imagination helps us find solutions to sooth the stresses of everyday life - or get a little lift to help us keep going. In short: all things are possible when you share Christensen’s philosophy that "Believing is Seeing.”

Usual rules apply - I am a ruthless weeder so if you have any 3s or 1s message me first or you might find yourself dropped. This is because this ATC will be time intensive and although I angel ALL flakes I will ban flakers from all other Masterclass swaps and I have a good memory, ask my husband ;-)

Is it OK to use prismacolor pencils? They can look like an oil painting.

You can use whatever you want :-) I generally find watercolours work well but have tried other methods too
