Description:
This is just a simple fabric swap. It is the sixth swap in a series of 11. We will be sending THREE 9"x9" squares of fabric to EACH of your partners (you will have four). This means you will be sending 12 squares of fabric and hopefully after this, you will have enough to make a queen size quilt. There are no material requirements and it's sender's choice, so feel free to send your leftovers, if you have any. If you don't like the fabric you got, reswap it in the next one (no one says you have to keep it). DON'T give the sender a bad rating. If your partner sends you a fabric square measuring 9"x9", then they get a five regardless of your preferences! If you like the fabric, give them a heart. Please make sure that your squares are, indeed, actually square. This goes for everyone, including myself. Newbies welcome with a well filled profile and everyone must have a rating of 4.8 and higher. No recent 1's or 3's. That means 1's must be at least 6 months old and 3's must be at least 3 months old. I will be checking profiles and if I have questions or concerns, I will message you. melyssajoy, thank you for doing these swaps. i have enjoyed the beautiful fabric i have gotten so far from all over the world. i wish i had thought to write on the fabrics where they came from. next time....

Hi, I am new on the swap site, and I used to only do postcards on Postcrossing.com

I like this swap but before I enter I want to know if i'm understanding it right. We have here textile market in the area every 3 months or so. Can i buy there nice looking pieces and cut them in to 9" squares and send them in this Swap?

I would like to apologise to my partners. I said I would post tuesday but the temp was 42C and I don't drive.. All parcels have been sent today..

I also owe my partners an apology - gave swaps to 38yo son who forgot to mail and just told me last night. I have been laid low with tendonitis in both shoulders since Sunday. Can't turn my head or lift my arms without pain. Went to doctors today and mailed all my swaps while I was out.

I am so sorry to my swap partners! I don't know about you guys, but I cleaned for the holidays and all of my stuff became inaccessible! Please respond to this comment so I know I'm not alone! I feel terrible, and as I take down my tree and decorations I am coming back into life before the holidays! I will send my fabric out - SOON, VERY VERY SOON!! (I'm posting this same comment on Simple Square Swap #5)

ok WOW! what a bummer this swap has been: I have been flaked by 2 of my partners: @handysandy and @oldladylois
the host hasn't bothered to ask if she could do anything about the situation. I have PM-ed @melyssajoy if she has heard from the 2 partners but she also didn't bother to reply to that PM. Still, she has gotten a star for this swap. How is that possible?????????????????? Very dissapointing experience bleh!

I was flaked on by the same people @Alphenstamp I only just recieved from them this week. A complete mess, too many troublesome people allowed in and poorly run. I will not be joining future ones.
