Please feel free to let me know of any questionable swappers you spot in my swap! I welcome the info, as I can't always keep up with all of the forums:-) This includes non-raters, and tag flakers as well!!!

What is a smoking friendly swap? I smoked for a good many years myself but nothing's worse than opening up an envelope that smells like cigarette smoke. So....what exactly does that mean?

I live in a home with a chain smoker, and my daughter is allergic to dryer sheets (the only way I'm told to effectively deodorize swaps without making it smell nasty with perfumes). I'm not sure how many people in my swaps are in smoking homes also, but I want to give people who can't handle the smell the option of passing the swap by (that's why I put the warning up). I know some people are very allergic, and I don't want to cause them any problems.

I don't believe there would be much of a smell if any in such a small swap, but sometimes all it takes is a little to cause ALOT of trouble!

Sorry about the long answer to your question @AimeeFrey , but I like to be as clear as I can:-) I hope this answers your question. I just feel it's easier then saying nothing, and being partnered with someone who's deathly allergic! I wouldn't know what to do.

If I get a card which smells of smoke, I'll just leave it outside to air out for a day. I'm a former smoker, and the smell literally makes me ill, but I'd rather change how I do things than how someone else does theirs...
