For this swap you will make 1 pair of stunning earrings for 1 partner. The earrings should be inspired by ''Dia de los Muertos'', the colourful Mexican festival honouring the dead. Think sugar skulls, Posada imagery, La Catrina, flowers, and a bit of sparkle. Please spend time and effort creating a gorgeous pair of earrings that your partner will love to wear and proudly show off to all. Do not use plastic or wooden kiddie craft type beads. Google ''Dia de los Muertos'' and ''Day of the Dead'' for information and imagery relating to the festival. Look at ''Dia de los Muertos earrings'' and ''Sugar Skull earrings'' on flickr and etsy.com for handmade inspiration. Could we use polymer clay or shrink plastic to make the skulls? They're both technically plastic, but not plastic beads per se...
