Friendship Mini Pillow [International]

This looks really sweet. Are the good wishes sewn up inside the pillow? Do you tell your partner what the good wishes say?

I am interested in this swap but need a little more info so I get it correct. We fill it with just lavendar? Where do you get it at? Also we sew the wishes up inside? How does our partner know what they are? Great swap idea. Thanks

I got my lavender at the german ebay, now i take a look at ebay.com and there you also can get it:

In Germany also some Drugstore have lavender, maybe a other person who lives in the USA could help you?

You could get the lavender from a health food store (usually) and some craft stores may carry it also. It is normally in the dried flower section. You might also check bath and body works or a local florist. At the most you would need 1.5 to 2 cups of the lavender. You would not necessarily have to stuff it solid.

Hi Enjoy, this is a great idea BUT there is a problem if this is international. When sending to Australia and New Zealand nothing can be sent that was once living, either plant or animal. If this happens border control will confiscate it and burn it, this includes the pillow/bag it is in. So the pillows would need to be sent empty! The same goes for when sending out of the country! Too bad this has to be lavendar. Lavendar has started making me sneeze terribly.

This would be a cute swap but I am allergic to things like lavender. Since some people don't read what is posted here, I can't request it be filled with nothing scented. Good Luck with your swap.

Maybe we could change the rules a little bit - participants in Australia, New Zewland and other who doesn´t want lavender get pillows with filling cotton wool....

Usually the scented pillows are sachets... I have never gotten a scented pillow with scents unless it was a sachet. I would join this swap if it was plain ole cotton/fiber fill or whatever it is that people have.

Why not start another one just for those who cannot have lavendar? that way those who want lavendar still can do it with lavendar.

I meant for those who can't do scents that can only do it with regular filling.

I would be happy to leave mine empty with one side open and that way the receiver can fill it to suit them self. Either this swap or a new one with all the pillows empty. This way it will be under the 10mm for postage and will post at letter rate not parcel so a lot cheaper for international swappers! Hugs :-)

I thought about it and I would like to leave everything in such a way like it is.

I would not like to open second Swap, because i wont trade pillows without lavender, for me this smell belongs to.
