Autumn Leaf Prints

Autumn is here, for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere. In many places, leaves are beginning to turn pretty colors, or are already (I live in Coastal Georgia and we are just beginning here.) In celebration of this unveiling of beauty, I bring to you this swap.

For this technique, you will make a print of a real leaf to use as either your background for your ATC or as the main element, as shown in the swap image. Just make sure your leaf print is able to be seen, if you use it (or several prints) as background. I also have another leaf print ATC in my Flickr photos, for reference.

I find it easier to use smaller inkpads and simply apply the ink to the leaf. These are found in most crafting shops. Or, if you prefer, transfer the ink by placing the leaf on a larger ink pad. You could also use paint, if you wish. No rubbings, though...the point is to make a print. :) You will have 2 partners for this swap. I will be checking profiles just to see how everyone is doing. :) I trust everyone will send, but if something unforseen happens, I will be the Angel for this swap.
