Do you realise that 10 items from a pound shop will cost about twice as much as 10 items from a dollar store?

Maybe it's just spend 10$(or the equivalent in your currency) at the cheap-o-shop near your home and send Christmas related items to your partner! :-)

I'm taking this in the literal sense, Christmas items. Hopefully the dollar store will have a good selection by then. I agree the pound's value is way higher, so just spend 10 GPB's.

For my swap's you are not limited to only christmas items, Dollar stores have so much to offer and I'm thinking they'll add lots of neat stuff for then. Oh and I also agree to us 10.00 value not a good time to part with the cash. Connie

We don't have a "dollar" store or we have - but the stuff there costs more than US$1

I would love christmas things for tha value of $10 and will spend apox $10 myself!

Can the person sending to me please tell me if the package was sent surface? If so I'll don't need to expect it to arrive in at lest 2-4 weeks :-)

Hi I was going to post to say mail has been taking as much as 2 full monthes if not sent air maybe thats the hold up for some not mine:( boohoo:( mine has not been sent off yet nor any contact.....:(

Since the person sending to me hasn't answered the question about sending surface or not I'll give a "Not recieved". I will change it when I recieve the package :-)

I never received anything for this swap. I would really like to know why the swap hostess would allow this person to join the swap when her feedback rating is 1.8 and she has a track record of never sending anything. I would like to know how to contact the assigned sender so I can communicate to her what a hurtful thing she has done by refusing to send anything to me. I'm through with swaps. This is the last time I'm getting burned!

It really hurt to find out nothing was being sent. For someone being alone for Christmas it is not so fun so this seemed so perfect for me. I had a partner in Hungary and she recieved my swaps about 11 days from the send date. Having takers in these nice swap groups really ruins things. I hope very soon these persons are removed from trying to ruin things.

Still haven't recieved my package :-( I hope it'll get here, since it's marked sent and is from a swapper with high rating.

My package arrived late (and was sent from England) so I am feeling like my faith in humanity is restored. I have revised my original rating - and hope that my score will help to improve her overall rating. Very pleased with this swap (though the long wait was suspenseful).
