To the One that (I'm Glad!) Got Away #1

I think everybody has that one person who got away. There are just as many of us who've had that one jerk that taught us what a good person really is—by being everything he/she wasn't.

You may have found your One, or you may still be looking. This letter should be about the person that set your standards higher, or treated you like dirt, or just made you realize what you DON'T want in a potential partner. This is your chance to say what you want to say, to get it all on paper and out of your system.

You can do this one of two ways. 1) Address the letter to the person you're writing about, as if it were going directly to them. I know profanity is tempting, but let's try and keep that to a minimum. 2) Address it to your partner and dish the whole ugly/funny/astonishing story, along with what it taught you in the end. Both ways can be very cathartic.

Please put effort into these letters. A 2 page handwritten or 1 page type (font 12) is the minimum. You will have one partner. If you want to send something flat to your partner with the letter you can, but it isn't a requirement.

I will be checking profiles so:

• Don't join if you're a newbie without a WELL FILLED out profile.

• If you have any unexplained 1's or 3's.

• No outstanding swaps & if you have 1's that have not been made up but can be - I will ban you.
