Description:
THE IDEA: Make an ATC of your pet(s). You can use any creative technique including painting, drawing or collage-style etc... (no plain sticker slapping). Also send your partner a picture of your animal and include their name somewhere - this can be on the back if you prefer! IMPORTANT: Please put some time/effort into your ATC. Send something you would be happy to receive yourself! Let's make this a great ATC swap :) METHOD: make your ATC on standard size (2.5 x 3.5 inches). Please use a paper that is a little bit nicer than plain copy paper and, if the paper is not very heavy, please mount it on a firm backing. put the appropriate ATC information on the back of the ATC: title, number, artist information... include a picture of your pet so we can see your pet in 'real-life' - this may be important if your picture is a bit abstract! ;) This can be a digital copy (sent by email) also if that's easier. ensure the ATC is securely inside the envelope before sending! send to your partner :) REQUIREMENTS TO JOIN THE SWAP: A good rating (Above 4.7, no unexplained low marks) Newbies accepted on the condition they have filled in their profile! Just send me a message first if you are unsure. I will ANGEL when needed I will remove anyone from the swap that does not meet the above requirements before partners are assigned. Happy Swapping!

Hi! Newbie here! This sounds like a fun "first swap" for me since I have a precious little dog I would love to feature. I have a question though. Is it ok to use a digitally altered photo of my pet on the card? As I mentioned, I'm new to this and not sure about specific rules, etc. Thanks!

Hi! First of all, welcome to Swap Bot - this is a great community and i'm sure that soon you will be just as addicted as the rest of us :)

Thanks for your interest in this swap. Primarily this is a hand-crafted swap, meaning something solely created on your computer wouldn't meet the requirements. I think however, if you incorporated a digital image into your hand-crafted ATC I wouldn't see a problem with it.

The main thing is that your ATC is something creative and unique for you and your pets. It is always a nice idea to check your partners profile, once they have been assigned, to see what they (don't) like - this can give you a direction when designing your card.
