Description:

Weather you celebrate it with your true love or with that everlasting friendship, Valentines day celebrates the tie we share with that special someone or someones. They balance out the bad things and make your life complete.

Foods, like us, also have that special other; that other taste that makes them even more mouthwatering. Take cheddar cheese, for example, and marry it to macaroni and you get the little wonder that is Mac and Cheese. The friendship between potatoes and mayo flourished into a potato salad.

For this swap, you'll send one item that has two ingredients that were MADE to go together and write a phrase that starts with "You're the..... to my ......" to go with it. For example, You're the cheese to my macaroni (macaroni and cheese), you're the chips to my cookie (chocolate chip cookie), you're the noodle to my chicken (chicken noodle soup or creamy chicken noodle), etc.

Without further ado, here are the swap requirements:

  • Send 1 food item that has two ingredients that were MADE to go together.
  • Write a phrase that starts with "You're the..... to my ......" to go with it.
  • Spend at least $2 on the swap.

Don't forget to:

  • Package your items appropriately. Glass items and fragile foods should be wrapped and boxed to prevent breakage. It's a good idea to use a plastic baggie for anything that can leak, melt, or tear open during shipping.
  • Please send items in their original, sealed packaging for health and customs reasons. Be sure to check expiration dates and only send in-date food items that will not expire before reaching your partner.
  • Send and rate on time. On the rare occasion that you may need to send a bit late, please contact your partner AND the swap coordinator before the swap deadline has passed

Where do we write the phrase? In a card with the items, or here?

I believe you write the phrase and enclose it in the swap. I plan to put mine in a card with a note.
