I have been wanting to do a journal like this for some time. This will be an art journal. So I do not want to see your quote, lyric, memorable speech on a blank white page! This journal will be 20 pages (single sided, you can do a spread if you like but its not required) .We will choose 20 inspirational thoughts, words, quotes, lyrics. Anything that takes your fancy, that line of a song that has lived in your mind forever, or those famous words uttered by that politician. Your words, your choice. Then decorate your journal.. Please don't sticker slap, that makes my evil goblin side come out. Put your heart into the page with both words and art! Your Journal is to be a minimum size of A5. This will be an international swap so take that into consideration. You need to have a minimum of ten type 3 swaps under your belt. Any recent ones I will be needing to hear an explanation. Need I say it. No flaking allowed! the evil goblin will bring down the full force of her wrath upon you. If I suspect you to be of flaking material I reserve the right to ban you. Why can't you do one just for the USA.? With Postage going up, I would prefer one done here.

'cos the rest of us can't join in then ;<( and 99% of my swaps go from the U.K. to the U.S.

LOL @pynart2 ... I am actually in Australia and a lot of our group members are international. You know if you made the journal it would be a lot lighter than a store bought one and you can use lovely paper then too! I usually use a soft watercolour paper. For a small 20 page journal all you would need to do is sew down the spine. Probably about $10 to send. I know Australia Post is expensive so maybe even cheaper for you.

@shelbysbarn not noob at all sorry I should have put measurements. Its half A4 which is about 6inches x 8inches give or take.

I'm an international, too. Can't wait- hope my partner won't mind a hand made journal - not much available here that is shippable - I can only send 500 grams or less to the USA so it will be light. Hope that's ok - if not, let me know and I'll drop from the swap. Thanks!

Can this be a junque journal style? Or does it have to be art journal specifically?

I think junque journals are some of the most artful journals I have seen. I would just hope to see effort in each page. Nearly time to allocate partners :-D ..... I'm just about done on my journal and it is handmade too @kgeslab
