This is a swap for a bookmark made from recycled items.

You can use any medium you wish, but the bookmark must have at least one part recycled, the more parts that are recycled the better.

I got this idea for the swap when I got some junk mail that made two very nice bookmarks with me adding just a little bit of other recycle parts.

So please re-purpose what may otherwise end up in the land fill and let someone else enjoy using it! You can use junk mail, you can use old fabric, a raveled shirt the thread could come from, a broken necklace. You can use whatever you have around the house that would otherwise be tossed in the trash.

The restriction I will put on this swap is, to please go your partner’s profile, and respect the things that they do not like want or could not have. Other than those, you can make it simple or dolled up a lot. Send the bookmark with a little note or letter, telling your partner what you did to make the bookmark.

Now the boring repeat stuff: Please do not join with more than one 1 rating, you need to be making those up and not join in my swaps as far as I am concerned.

Well filled out means more than two or three small paragraphs. Your profile will have many likes, dislikes, favorite books, movies colors, crafts and dislikes.

That being said, do make a bookmark you would be proud to take to work and show off that you made it.

This paragraph is about after the swap: Perhaps we can get photos of the bookmarks and get them on a blog somewhere. So if you want to, take a photo of your bookmark. If I can figure out how to get the photos to me, and then upload them to my blog, I will make a blog post about the bookmarks. And if you want to tell me how it was made, I could add that to your photos. For this, if you want o add your bookmark and the way it was made, write a story simple or make it like a cool novel.
