Hello. Is this an international swap?

Are there any restrictions on the type of fabric? I'd like to swap if I can get cotton fabrics since that's all I use.

I like cottons too. Thinking of joining. Any way we can have more than one partner? Is there a minimum size to the pieces we send? I mean I personally don't prefer anything smaller than about 6x6? But prefer FQs...

yes! this is an international swap. there are no restrictions as to which kind of fabric. the sizes should be useable sizes... no tiny scraps and such.

Are the sizes supposed to be sewn together to make a yard, or just measured so that they all add up to one yard? Sorry for my confusion.

excuse-me...could someone tell how "a yard" would be in centimeters? saying "a yard" u mean 1yardlenghtX1yardhigh? TY ^_^

1 yard usually means length. The width varies by the fabric and is measured selvage end to selvage end.

I'm new to this and was wondering what FQ meant. I'm interested in joining this swap, I have a huuuuge collection of fabric and lot's of extra pieces. : )

craftylette - FQ means Fat Quarters; a cut of fabric that is at least 18X22 inches.

e*b - 1 yard = 91.44cm A cut of 1 yard length is usually less in width (more like 60cm but they vary). i would just be generous in your measurements. i've already gathered my fabrics which i'm sure measure much more than 1 yard.

My fabric is ready, too. It's hard to measure a yard but I have five pieces that are more or less about a fat quarter so that should do it. :) It's nice to be able to trade from fabric that I have lots of to get something new!
