Description:

Its fun to swap with people all over the world, but its also nice to know who is just around the corner. It can also induce friendships and craft partners.

This swap is for everyone from the state of Georgia. Snail mail is the best kind of fun so how about a nice note. Say where your from, what your favorite crafts are... that kind of thing. Don't get too personal if you don't want to. This is just to see how many of us are out there.

Okay for the the rules. I hate to have to do this in a swap like this but I know I have to. 4.5 rating or higher. If you feel that you have a retaliatory rating just pm me. Newbies are welcome, as long as you have a full profile. I will ban people before I assign partners.

What if we are going to retire to GA in 10 years? I LOVE Georgia - it is the BEST! But sorry, I live in Virginia right now.

I'm a newbie to swap-bot & new to Georgia too (McDonough) I'm originally from Chicago. Would love to learn more about my new surroundings (like where to go craft supply hunting, besides Jo-ann fabrics & Michaels....sorry, didn't mean to rant...)Anywho, would love to be a part of this swap!

Feh. Don't come to Atlanta. I have never lived somewhere where it is SO hard to find good craft suppliers. Grump.

freaky! momilani, I just moved to McDonough too! I've been here a week and love it so far, but haven't gotten my furniture yet so no crafting supplies. But I can write a letter easy! I'm in.

Local supply sources are out there you just have to know where to look. Check out http://etsyatlanta.wordpress.com/ for a list of local Atlanta supplies and a list of some of our local Atlanta crafters.

small world Kat! I'm loving McDonough too ( & what I've seen of Georgia so far too...) BUt really, what are the odds, of all places, to be in the same town! Too funny. Maybe we'll get each other in the swap. Morae, thanks for the info. I will absolutely check it out. I've already found some thrift stores (like to find crafty old treasures there...) & some fabric stores, besides Jo-Anns , but so far most seem to be upolstry-furniture-type of fabrics (ok, not sure I spelled that right, but hopefully you know what I mean...) I'm real excited about this swap...can't wait to start. Bye for now-Tina
