Do you like hand embroidery work as much as I do? If you do you’ll want to join this series of swaps. We will be making one quilt block at least 6 1/2" OR LARGER with any theme of hand embroidery pattern and colors the sender wishes to make.

--one 6 ½” OR LARGER block hand embroidered in any pattern and combination of colors senders want to make

--the only regulations beside the size of the block is that the base fabric must be white or off-white or pale cream, or a muslin base will work as well

--one partner

The blocks we mail will measure at least 6 ½” OR LARGER allowing a generous ¼” seam allowance around the edge of the block so that our handy-work will not be hidden in the seam allowance when the blocks are assembled. Be generous with your work and don’t make a 2” picture in the middle of an 6 ½” block.

This will be an opportunity for you to try that cute embroidery pattern you’ve been thinking about making. Be sure to do your best embroidery work and press the block before mailing.
