this swap is for all the kawaii fans that love getting cute mail! you will decorate one envelope, atleast 4x6 inches, front and back with your very own artwork. the art must be your own, not from an already cute kawaii envi! no sticker slapping, no crayons, nothing quickly scribbled in and messy! aside from that any medium is allowed for example: collage, watercolor, nicely colored marker, paint, you get the idea. once your envi is decorated pls include a nice flat kawaii surprise and a note with your user name and swap name. Examples of flat kawaii surprises include 25 sticker flakes, 15 mini memos, or 10 large memos, if sending memos send them in a plastic bag with a sturdy backing so not bent in the mail. As well do not send sticker flakes loose in the envi. To join this swap you must have completed and be rated for at least 10 type 2 or 3 swaps and have a minimum rating of 4.9, with no recently unexplained 3's and absolutely no 1's. Also, you should have completed and be rated for at least 5 different kawaii swaps. I will be checking everyone's profile. Do not flake or late send. If you have any difficulty, contact your partner and/or coordinator. And there is no rating a 3 because you don't like what you receive. Pls, everyone have fun with this, try something new, and send something you would like to receive! I will angel if needed, art is senders choice.

Just to be clear, we have to use our own created kawaii characters/foods/w.e or we can use pre-existing characters (hello kitty, charmy kitty, etc.) as long as we draw/paint them ourselves?

Either or, kawaii inspired is all. If you collage with the real characters that's fine, or hand drawn, all I'm asking for really is art and effort. Effort mainly. I've received some things here on swap bot that are amazing, and others that are barely better than my kids scribbles. So as long as long as it s kawaii inspired and not slapped together youre good. Feel free to experiment with new techniques and ideas!

If sending memos, are you requiring a plastic bag? Mini memos are easy to slip into an ATC protector, but I'm not sure that I have a baggy appropriate for 4x6 memos. Just wondering!

does the flat surprise have to be memos/stickers or can it be an atc, small plushie (almost flat, LOL), etc.?

@coloradokate just as long as the 4x6 don't get bent up, I know you put them in a large card, that works just fine, the Baggie was mainly for the mini memos

@ alexalgbra if sending an atc, pls check and see if your partner collects atc, and pls make sure it's your own artwork as well no crayons either they smear really bad in the mail, no sticker slapping. I personally love getting great artwork on atcs, and have seen some amazing ones, but those seems to be few and far between.
