My Personal Soundtrack

While I was writing a letter for another group swap, an idea came to me... Scary, I know!!

We all have songs and pieces of music that remind us of times in our lives, and when I've discussed this with some of my penpals it's always been fascinating to find out what makes certain pieces of music so special for different people.

So this could be either an intro letter with a difference or, if you're matched with a partner you already know well, a different side to them. Following the usual group rules, you'll be writing a letter to your partner telling them about the songs and groups that have played a huge part in your life or guided you through stages in your life.

When you have done that, you then have the almost impossible task of selecting your eight Desert Island Discs, the eight songs you couldn't live without, to close the letter. As SwapBot rules forbid sending mix CDs, please include YouTube links if you can so your partner can discover some new music!
