DATES EDITED MOVED BACK A WEEK

The first two went wonderfully, let's do a third!

Here's a simple sweet swap that will satisfy the sugar sweetness in you!

For this swap you will send your partner the following:

  • One Chocolate Bar (at least 50g)
  • One Package of candy (at least 50g)
  • One small profile based surprised

Swap limit is $5 before shipping and these items should easily be able to ship this in a bubble envelope and keep shipping prices low for international.

The chocolate and the candy are sender's choice (check profiles for allergies though!) and the profile based surprise is obviously based on your partners profile and does not have to be a sweet, (can be if they've got some listed) but something they will enjoy!

I will check partners before assigning, open to all members of the Sweet Tooth Group.

AW MAN! Can you do this again in the winter? I live in Phoenix.. a chocolate bar is NOT going to survive the trip. :(

Obstminkerl 05/17/2012 #

@rachelcdoyle ask your partner to put it into a ziploc bag and put it in to the freezer right after you received it. ;o) works great for me in summer!

Wouldn't this be classed as a type 3 swap?

violettedream 05/20/2012 #

@Racheldoyle - this is the third swap of this kind, if this one goes as well as the last two there will be more, but @Gusti has a great idea about sending in a ziplock! And placing in the freezer.

@Mandii79 - I think you are right, I have changed it.

I am also in phoenix. I would love to still play! And am sorry if the chocolate is a tab bit soft coming from this heat! Blessings, Rene'

wants to travel to Phoenix lol :-P

I'm in, by the way! Sounds cool ;-)

HeatherWill 05/24/2012 #

does anyone know aout how much to ship overseas from the US? I've never done a package international

violettedream 05/24/2012 #

@HeatherWill - it can vary from being $5 to $10 (I'm in Canada, so at least here thats what it is.) A bubble envelope is cheaper to send then a box, and perfect for this kind of swap.

I am SO happy to see so many others have joined!

Too hot here to mail chocolate. Most candy won't make it in this heat right now. I have to skip a few swaps till I get caught up on book swaps. I have 44 books to mail out so pass the Candy till the heat is gone...

weeatcrayons 05/29/2012 #

Ahhh yes it's too hot in Phoenix for chocolate...even putting it in a baggie and in a zip loc then in the freezer wouldn't save a chocolate bar....once the 115+ F weather hits it, it's toast...
