I've not yet seen a swap such as this... but I adore whimsy jars and making Dotee Dolls - so this seemed like a good fit!

For this swap you will have one partner to send a really fabulous Dotee Doll Whimsy Jar to.

Please fill a (decorated and, if the jar is used -make sure it is well cleaned, please. Of course, you may elect to send a plastic jar, instead, if you so desire) pint-sized Mason-Type Jar with anything suitable for making Dotee Dolls...

Here are the measurement conversions for a "pint" for any of my international friends:

1 pint = 16 fluid ounces, 32 tablespoons or 473 ML.

Some suggestions for slipping into the Dotee Doll Whimsy Jar might include:

Rolled fabric pieces, Felt pieces for making faces, Skeins of Embroidery Floss, Buttons, Beads, Lace, Ribbons, Charms, Vintage Trims, Embroidery Needles, Metallic Embroidery Floss, Small Jewelry Findings, Ephemera, Beading Floss/String, Silk Flowers, Miniatures, Embroidery Scissors, Fibers, etc. ~ anything fun and fabulous that you think your partner would really enjoy receiving for creating more Dotee Dolls ~ for herself ~ or for upcoming swaps!

Please make sure that you have an informative profile filled in for your partner to read. It makes it easier for you to receive things you will love to work with ~ if your partner knows what you love to work with!

I am beginning a USA/Canada only Dotee Doll Whimsy Jar next week. I am spacing the swaps apart to allow for full participation.

I opened the International one first because people would have been upset to not have the group open in International destinations.

Several people have now written that they are only interested in a USA swap. I did try to set up the right group, first!!
