For any of you that have Pinterest accounts and are using them... you KNOW what a wonderful thing it is!!! I have created many boards full of pins of favorite recipes, loved pieces of art and countless craft ideas to try. With the Pinterest Project Swap series I am picking different crafts from Pinterest that I think would make a great swap! The photo shows the Mini Journal. Isn't it so cute? You will create an attractive mini book for your partner to fill. They can use it for their pictures, notes, journaling, or Scripture. Voila! I have included a link to the site where you will find the very simple directions to make this. http://thecreativeplace.blogspot.com/2012/04/diy-mini-album-from-one-sheet-of-paper.html You will have two partners. You will make 2 journals and send one to each of your partners. The journals are to be left blank for your partners to fill in as they wish. Only VERY simple embellishments inside like washi tape, small 3-D stickers, felt embellishments, or sewing. Be sure and create a label for the front for them to fill in their book title when they wish. You can use an adhesive label, cut one from cardstock or whatever you would like. You may embellish the cover, but please don't overly embellish the inside pages. Inside pages may be left unembellished. If you have a nice pattern inside your album you may want to let the pattern be the sole decor. Swappers must have a rating of 4.8. Newbies may join with a well filled out profile. I will be checking. Supplies: + 1 sheet of 12"x12" heavy double sided cardstock (preferably with a pattern on one side) + adhesive (I use Tombow permanent rolling adhesive) + ruler and pencil to mark measurements + scissors, paper cutter, or a cutting mat and rotary blade |
