Just For You.....A Mini Composition Book Swap

This swap was inspired by a friend of mine. When her daughter was preparing to leave for collage she created a book for her from a mini composition book. She decorated the cover and then added something to front of each page inside that was specific to her daughter. For example, she put a sticker of a sock monkey on one page….her favorite toy from childhood. On another she wrote an excerpt from a poem by her favorite poet. One a third she put a picture of Marilyn Monroe with a quote from her written across the bottom of it. You get the idea. My friend included things that would be uplifting, inspiring or would bring a smile to her daughter anytime she was feeling blue, frustrated or just plain homesick. As the book became a bit puffy my friend also attached a piece of ribbon inside each of the covers so that the book could be tied shut to protect the pages inside.

For this swap I thought we could create a similar Just For You mini for our swap partner. They would be based on information found in our profiles.

PLEASE NOTE: You MUST have a VERY WELL filled out profile. You should have a detailed list of things you like, favorite things (colors, shapes, animals, whatever), and interests to give your swap partner ideas for page decorations.

PLEASE ALSO NOTE: A mini composition book has about 60 pages. Putting something on the front of each has you doing roughly 30 pages. If you don’t want to put that much work into this I understand but ask that you do not join this swap.

This will be a USA only swap to keep costs down. You will have one swap partner to create a Just For You mini for. A rating of at least 4.95 is required to join. I’m also requiring that you have been in at least 5 Type 3 swaps to join.

I’m hoping with these requirements that there will be no flaking. In the off chance that it does happen I will angel or set up an angel. Let’s not make this necessary.

YET ANOTHER NOTE: It may take me a day or two to assign partners once the sign up date passes. I will be looking at the profile of EVERY participant. If your profile is not adequately filled out I will drop you. I will try to look at them as people join and message anyone who may need to add more to their profile.
