SUPERPOWERS - Short Fiction (Int'l)

C'mon. We've all thought about it, what superpowers we'd most like to have and what we would do with those superpowers.

Now here's your chance to write a story, starring YOU, where you can explore those secret longings for super-strength, the ability to fly or bend steel or become invisible, or whatever power you've dared to dream about.

Ideas to explore if you so choose: How and when did you discover you had these abilities? Did you have to develop them, or did they come to you full strength? Did you need to learn to control them, or did that just come naturally? How would you use them? Would you just have some fun? Would you try to help those in need? Would you do harm or seek revenge? What would be your weakness or undoing? Maybe explore who your arch-enemy might be. Who,if anyone, would you tell about your superpowers? How would they react? Would you wear a snazzy costume? (Just beware of capes, you know what happens when there are capes involved)

You don't have to use all of these of course, they're just here to get you thinking.

Whatever direction you choose to go, write a minimum two-page story. You can write more if you're inspired to do so. Send that story to three people, via snail mail.

You can get even more creative with this by creating a fun cover or adding illustrations to your work. If you really get into it, maybe you'll turn into a zine or a short comic book. However, that is not required. Go where the creativity leads you.

Rules: This is an international swap. Newbies are more than welcome. Experienced swappers need to have a rating of 4.5 or higher. If you're not going to send, don't bother to sign up. If something comes up and you can't send, please be sure to let me and your partners know, so I can arrange angels in need be. I want everyone to get something in return for their efforts.
