Description:

A Tawashi is a Japanese dish scrubbie. There are several patterns on Crochet Pattern Central.com and I'm sure if you Google it there are more on other sites. They are quick and easy to make. They take me about an hour or a little less to make, depending on interruptions.

Edited I decided to change it to just 1 partner, making 2 tawashi's for that partner. This is to make it easier on us with the Holidays coming up. I know everyone is busy making other things for family and friends too, I know I sure am!! Also, I just realized that being strictly a crocheter, I didn't even think to say knitting these is fine also, sooo I am saying it now. If you would rather knit your Tawashi's, that is great also! I will edit the title to reflect this as well. I don't want to leave anyone out.

We will have 1 partner each and everyone will make each partner 2 Tawashi's. Please make them in Christmas colors!! This is sender's choice but it's always nice to check your partners profile to see if they prefer certain Christmas colors over others. You can make both the same pattern or you can make 2 different patterns, up to you. You can add a loop or not.

Ok now for the nitty gritty.. I am going to allow newbies with a well filled out profile, and a rating of 4.95 and higher with no 1's or 3's in the last 6 months. Also you must have at least 5 Type 3 swaps under your belt. Please make sure that you have your favorite Christmas color(s) listed in your profiles, or leave a comment with colors you would like and not like.

I am making this international because these are very light and shouldn't cost alot to send. I can angel if needed as I love to make these.

Please be sure to put a note in your package with username and swap name.

Remember, not everyone is an expert crocheter, so don't rate based on the quality of the package but on the fact that you got something and it was what is required. Feel free to give hearts if you get something you find to be a perfect match to you or if more then 2 were sent. Everyone loves hearts!

The first swap of these I hosted I made it with 3 partners but since we are doing this one closer to Christmas which is always a busy time, I made this one 1 partner, so you are only making 2 Tawashi's. I've also extended the time-frame so you will have longer to get these done. PLEASE let me know if you have any suggestions!! Thanks!!!!

Would anyone mind if I changed this to just 1 partner, making 2 Tawashi's instead of 2 partners, making 4 Tawashi's?

Any color is good for me, I'm not picky use what you have.

I'll be delighted with any color combination but Christmas/Hanukkah color themes would be very festive (& appreciated!).

I'd love to be on a reminder mailing list, please.
