Description:

For this swap you will create a package for your fellow Avalonian sister to celebrate Samhain/Halloween. Think of items that will assist or delight her in the thinnest day between the veil. When the Mists may reveal untold stories and incredible adventures.

Send 3 items that capture the spirit of Samhain/Halloween in the Avalonian sense.

Use your imagination and envision what package would be given in Autumn to a fellow Avalon lover. :) Suggestions: A scrying tool, an Autumn based journal, recipes that highlight season appropriate delights, a masquerade mask, etc...the list can go on and on.

For this swap, think Medieval Harvest, not Frankenstein. This is for an Avalonian themed Halloween/Samhain, so no Halloween candies or Mummy stickers, please. Please think of Avalon & the Arthurian legend & choose your items carefully.

Handcrafted or store bought. Make a delightful package your partner would LOVE to receive. :) Have fun & hopefully I won't have to worry about flakers.

That´s an awesome idea! I´ve been dead for too long and sincerely want to get back to my good old swap-bot days!

Is anyone but me struggling with this swap? I want to join but I'm not really finding anything I feel is appropriate for this. Everything seems to commercial and cutesy/spooky. I'm really concerned that it won't be "pagan" enough. Help because I want to sign up for this!!

Here is a webpage that may give you inspiration:http://merganser.math.gvsu.edu/myth/samhain.00.html

Think along the lines of Harvest and communing with the dead.

Perfect. Thanks, Oreon. I'm going to do my absolute best to contribute something reverent. Whoever my partner ends up being, please know that I'm a newbie at Pagan holidays and nothing is meant to offend or disparage! (And now I'm sure you're all thinking wow I hope she doesn't get me. Lol)

LOL-----or @Loriglen if you are truly worried, I can do a private swap with you in the same theme....although, I'm sure your package will be wonderful. :)

Lori is awesome! I will join too I was struggling a bit as well as to what I could make, but I think I can do this now! Lori, you will do fine, we all started somewhere. The best thing about being pagan is that is comes from the heart, our vision and interpretation of the seasons, what they mean to us and we can celebrate in more traditional styles of ceremonies and rituals but we can also create our own to make them even more special.
