Description:

I am ready for Winter!! This swap is for a Winter ATC. The ATC should reflect what comes to your mind when you dream of Winter. Please take time and care in what you make, and send your partner a work of art that you would like to receive yourself.

You will have 1 partner and send 1 ATC to your partner. The ATC has to be made by you and no one else (not your kids, neighbors, parents, cat, dog, fish, another member, etc.). Please make an ATC that you would want someone to send to you; don't just slap a bunch of stickers on the ATC and call it done. You are not within requirements if you sticker-slap!

In order to participate in this swap, you must not have any 1's in the past 12 months. No 3's in the past 4 months, unless you have a good explanation. Newbies are welcome with a well-completed profile, 5 completed swaps (type 1 excluded) and a flawless 5.0 rating. No exceptions! I will be checking profiles periodically and will ban anyone who doesn't meet the aforementioned requirements. Participants are urged to rate/comment on a flaker accordingly.

Please communicate with your partner if you are having personal issues that will keep you from sending your swap on time. I will not be angeling this swap.

Please ask any questions before signing up. Thanks!

Please rate according to the Swap-bot criteria below.

What are the rating criteria?

There are only three different rating criteria: I got my stuff and it met posted swap requirements (5 points); I got my stuff, but it didn't meet the posted swap requirements (3 points); I never got anything (1 point). Keep in mind that you are NOT rating your partners on whether or not you liked what you received, only on if it met the requirements of the swap. The fun thing about swaps is that you never know what you are going to get, and that means that sometimes you may not be thrilled with what you receive.

What are hearts and how do I give them?

If someone sends you an extra special swap package that far exceeds the swap requirements, you can give that person a heart, if you'd like.

ATC – Artist trading cards (ATCs) are miniature pieces of art that are traded around the world. Artists create, trade and collect art at organized “swap” events or through the mail, in person or online. The only official rule for ATCs is the size: 2.5″ x 3.5″. As a general rule, swaps are open to any media, materials or techniques as long as the card fits into a standard trading card sleeve. ATCs are traded, not sold. You may find that individual swaps on Swap Bot have rules as to how the ATC should be created for that particular swap. Each one is different, so make sure you read the swap description carefully before signing up. There are some artists who choose to sell cards. Cards that are sold are called Art Card Editions and Originals (ACEO) and are often found directly on the artist’s site or on EBay.
