Do you need a little motivation to keep up with a goal? I like to have a little "reminder" hung up or sitting somewhere to help remind me of my goals -- and a little encouragement from time to time! In this swap, we will share our goal(s) with our swap partner, who will create us a small talisman to hang up or place somewhere to remind us of our goal. Our partner will also send us a short motivational note with the talisman, to gently encourage us toward our goal! Partners may want to include in their note an explanation of the talisman (or not, partner's choice). Swap partners, once assigned, should contact the goal - ee for more info about their specific goal(s). One talisman, no matter how many goals, so maybe no more than 3 goals to address? For example, 2 of my goals are to practice Korean daily and stay positive when I am faced with a negatively expressed thought -- somehow these would be combined into one "reminder" talisman! This swap is personal and involves some care and heart, so please be rated "5" for at least 3 type 3 swaps and have no recent 1's or 3's. I will consider a private swap if you don't meet these requirements -- message me. I will angel if necessary.

what exactly is a talisman? I do not know, I am hoping that some others do not either, so I won't look so stupid.

A charm that has power (at least in the opinion of the person who possesses it). In this case, it would have the power to remind us of our goals and stay motivated. Think ... lucky charm, amulet, charm, ornament ... a little decoration that reminds your partner of a goal.

my goal is just to keep up housework - maybe one room each day ? have health issues so get to "play" instead but house is getting dusty and floors need mopping need help talisman to clean

Tell me about it! I have a toddler and an overactive mind -- if I could be inspired to be more enthusiastic about tidiness and less enthusiastic about swaps ... well, I would have less fun. Housework does seem like a good theme for inspiration. I gave my mother a "kitchen witch" once -- I think she was sort of a talisman. It's one of the things I've given her that she actually likes!
