I haven't made one of these in a loooong time. To tell you the truth it is the only one I've ever made....but they are so cute:) Senders choice to create a beautiful or handsome sock monkey for their partner. They are quick and inexpensive to make. Please do use only new socks for this project! Your partner will be happier that way:) The sky is the limit for the socks you start with. I would scour the sock clearance at Sears or Winners or even the dollar store. You will need a pair that rises up like a standard dress sock....Or you could look for the old standard 'red heel' grey socks....that will be up to you. Please have a look at your partners profile and try your best to accommodate your partners tastes. Simple and easy to follow pictorial instructions can be found here. Anyone wanting to create a regional swap within the group for this project can contact me and I will set them up to host.

I am excited to try this and thanks for allowing Canadians to join. Unless you get someone overseas the postage between US and Canada is virtually the same - no more than a dollars difference. Canada is not considered Overseas or International if mailed from US

@snpyrunner ...I'm not super fond of US only swaps since I cannot join them:).......plus I could not even generate one if I wanted to. As it states right in the swap...if you'd like to start a US only one...please contact me and I will set you up. @GrammaSherry ...Well, I am from Canada, so I had to allow it:) And it will likely be more expensive for me to send within Canada than into the US as there is no small packet rate within Canada. Hope you can fit this one in....they are so darned cute:)

My thing is Dotees at the moment and it costs MORE to mail to Quebec than to mail to PA. The big bucks is across the ocean - thats where your money doubles. I am soooooo in on this swap. Be prepared I am not a great sewer - just decding on the size and sock type. These could become addictive!!!!!! Baby socks, wool socks, striped, seasons - owwwww the list could be ENDLESS!
