Description:

After doing such a good job of making and sending this swap, this will be the ninth month. Thank you all for doing a good job on the other swaps.

For this swap you make your own envelope. Usiing a magazine cover, a calendar, pretty craft paper, childrens' books, etc., anything that will hold up in the mail. Do not just put a sticker on an envelope. You are to make the entire envie. There are websites on google that you can find to give actual instructions, but I find that taking apart a regular envie and tracing it works for me. Easy Peasy!

Size - Prefer you do ones that are bigger than those little gift card envelopes. I personally prefer to get envies large enough to hold letters as I do a lot of penpalling. Up to sender.

Newbies are welcome as long as their profile is more than one paragraph and we get to know a little about you. No ones for 2012

Threes are okay as long as I agree to accept because of their circumstance. . One person swap - sending 3 envelopes made by you.

USA and Canada because of postage costs. Have fun, be creative and enjoy. Any questions?

So, we make an envelope......and send it in an envelope or send the one that we made?

It seems like we send three envelopes in one envelope, and that fourth can be any old envelope. I do want to share this, wallpaper makes sturdy envelopes. And the wallpaper choices at some thrift stores can be beautiful.

Grr, I did forget the wallpaper glue the other day.

All of you are welcome. I do use a flour and water glue, it is better than the chemical glue from the stores.
