This will be a quick one cuz we're already in the middle of March Madness!!! I'm sitting here knitting away as I watch my favorite teams play ball, and it occured to me we should do a swap! This is a yarn-snob yarn swap. We will be swapping a pattern and enough yarn to complete a project in your favorite school colors. Socks, scarfs, hats, whatever you would like. Patterns can be free off the web, but should have a cool factor to them. Put your favorite school/colors and the kind of project you might like in the comments section below. The latest you should mail your package is April 5. All swap members should have: Full profile No no-sends Newbies send email and I will review your profile 5's should be given if you receive a package that fulfills requirements. Stars should be given for those that go above and beyond in school spirit!

Hi, my favorite team is the Kansas Jayhawks, they are crimson and blue. I would love a cool sock pattern to go with the yarn.

Our favorite team is the Celtics. Green and white. I am very, very new to knitting. I would love a beginner, just learning friendly pattern for a hat or maybe a simple sock pattern. No wool please.

I still love my high school team colors and they were red, white and blue! I would love some really great sock yarn in those colors. (It could be pink, blue and cream...any variation is fine)

I forgot to say what type of sock pattern. I am pretty flexible and love all patterns. I have really a lot, but it would be fun if you can find it...a patriotic one. If not one with cables would be fun. My HS was very school spirited and I have many good memories from that. This will be fun. I plan to do some fun snacks and stuff in mine so add that to your list if you would like!

First choice would be U of M, maize & blue... but I have been informed that there is no way that they will make the final four.

So the second choices is WI with red & white. Scarf or a hat pattern would be great. Oh and unisex, please...I am going to make this for my husband.
