Description:
This swap is for the postcard and postage stamp fans out there! Send your partner 1 postcard, naked (not in an envelope), and add 3 or more postage stamps to mail it. Try to include a mix of stamps, possibly with some older designs, and they should add up to at least normal postage. You don't have to include a lengthy message, to make room for the stamps, but make sure to include the name of the swap and your member name. The postcard can be store-bought or homemade, but try to send something you think your partner will like and that you'd like to receive.

I have got ants in my pants. I am so excited about mailing this off. I do love the postage stamps as much as the postcards.

Hej i have a Q. let me see if i understood correctly. the card must have 3 or more postage stamps, and we can decorated with some older design stamps do you mean used stamps??? thank you!

musamaya: No, the stamps you put on it are for postage. You just use ones that are of smaller denominations than the current rate.

So in the US, it costs $0.33 to send a postcard, so the 3 or more stamps you use should add up to that amount.

You can use older stamps if they haven't been used for postage before (still have the gum or adhesive, and aren't cancelled). You can buy these on eBay or from stamp collectors and use them as postage.

I guess if you wanted to decorate it with older stamps, you could do that, as long as you put enough for postage.
