PP - Journal Pockets - Intl

As a paper crafter sI am sure we all have some kind of book / journal we use for whatever. Some have Smash books, some have art journals. Others use shop-bought diaries.

This swap is to make pockets for these journals. A pocket can be made in different ways and here is some suggestions:

• small handmade envelopes made from sturdy paper and/or reinforced enough to withstand frequent handling
• two sheets of vellum sewn together
• store-bought small envelopes altered enough to be journal worthy
• library card sleeves - the kind they use for the check-out card
• tuck-in matchboxes - the fold-over and tuck into the stapled bit

There are loads of ways to make pockets. Check out pinterest or youtube. Get creative and have fun :)

What to do:

• Send a minimum of 5 pockets for your partner. Inserts are not mandatory.
• Pockets must be interesting in some way. Do not just send 5 shop-bought plain envies as the pockets. Respect your partner and be creative.
• Minimum size per pocket is 2.5x3.5" (Yes, ATC size). I'm not giving a max size. Use your noggin' to determine whether you are sending something that is pocket worthy.
• Make sure pockets are sturdy for frequent use. Rather err on the side of caution and reinforce when in doubt.

The usual swap fineprint applies:

• no recent / unexplained 1's or 3's (within 6 months).
• 4.95+ to participate
• Do not send unusable / dirty / junk and be fair in rating.
• Sender's choice.
• I'll boot where I feel uncomfortable.
• I'll angel, but flake at your own risk. The wrath will be epic and memorable. Please don't make me fetch the dragons.
