Description:
Ok, so I am making a postage stamp quilt and I really want it to be all different fabrics. So the mission if you choose to accept it is to swap 2.5 squares of fabric! The downlow and dirty mumbo jumbo: You have one partner (I know I want more partners, but I want to take this slow!) You will swap at least 2.5 inch squares of fabric (I know I measure mine as they come in and I recommend you do too! Yes I will rate a three if you send smaller than 2.5 square! And I expect you to do the same. Larger is ok if you are fearful of skimping your partner.) You will send 49 DIFFERENT fabrics! Not just 49 fabric squares,they must be different! (I count as they come in, and recommend you do too!) Things you are not expected to do: I know that it has become popular to swap these little squares, if you happen to get a partner you have had before, you a not expected to find different fabrics this time. As always, I will ban with impunity! (Ok, perhaps not impunity, but if I think you will cause issues, you are out!)

I am watching this and collecting 2.5 inch squares. I'm up to 26 different ones now! If I can make it to 49, I will join up before closing.

I plan on hosting this every month until I get enough squares. (making a king sized 16 patch quilt. I need 100 16 patches so I need 1600 fabric squares!). I expect this will take at least 5 or 6 more months!

I would SOOOOO love to get started on a postage stamp quilt. I have been collecting 1.5" squares for a long time, but would also be game to make a quilt with 2.5" squares. Think I need to pass on this swap, but looking forward to the May swap being posted and should be ready to go by then:))) Lord knows I have probably got 500 different fabrics to cut from, lol.

I will try and join this swap monthly, hope I don't miss it! But I do have one question and that is this: you want or need all different fabric squares and that's fine for this swap. However, if you are my partner three months later I cannot remember what I have sent to you previously. Would that create a problem?
