Description:

You will make one partner one TEXTILE OR FABRIC based item themed around fairytales or folk stories. Examples of items could be a brooch, purse, tote, pin cushion, needle book, journal cover, embroidered patch, art doll, quilt square etc the possibilities are endless. As well as the fabric element, you must include a note explaining the item and the tale it is connected to. You must put effort into this swap, this isn't going to be a "I'll spend 5 minutes on this so I can get something awesome for free" but then I know you guys don't think like that, so I can trust you, right? ;) This is an international swap, so bear that in mind when it comes to shipping and customs.

Examples of fairy tales and folk tales that fit the group theme are broad and the choices are pretty much limitless. Ghost stories, alien encounters, historical stories, all and any fiction is fine to draw on. Maybe you have a folk or fairy tale local to where you live? The weirder the better, we like it weird, don't we?

No half assed efforts, use your whole ass please.

Extras don;t get you hearts, only give hearts if you feel your partner went above and beyond and your item is gorgeous!

Flake on a swap I host and I will hunt you down and make you eat worms until you burst. True story. Send on time, obey the swapbot and swap rules, and just be bloody sensible, ok?

If I can find my polymer clay for a little extra part I have in mind for mine, I'm in :D

Is little red ridding appropriate to this swap?

darkshines 04/16/2013 #

It has to fall within the group interests, so I would say probably not, no.
