Description:

After excitedly following news about Neil Gaiman's American Gods getting turned into an HBO miniseries, I found myself wondering who is getting cast as the characters and if they would look like I imagined them to.

For this swap, you will pick YOUR favorite book, book series, or comic book and cast it as if you were going to make a film adaptation. In your email:

-Include pictures of all the actors/actress you choose
-Use a description (either from the book, or paraphrased from the book) about what each character looks and acts like
-Tell your partners why you chose that actor/actress for the role

That is all the MUST HAVES, but feel free to get more creative and tell your partners where you'd shoot your film, what music you'd use, etc. if you feel like getting real nerdy with it :)

This is email based, so newbies are welcome! And let's stick it at 4.8 for experienced swappers.

I can angel if need be, but let's not go there, okay?

I can't believe this, I was planning to host a swap like this myself! This is great!

My mother and I used to do this while walking to the local grocery store when I was a kid. I remember it took us walking to and from to totally cast the LOTR. And we cast Christopher Lee as Gandalf who appeared as Saruman in the Jackson film. He was quite a bit younger then.
