Description:

Ive had much success hosting swaps for ATC bags, so I decided to try Inchie Bags.

If you already have an established one to pass along from the other swaps, that's great! If not, here's how to start one:

Take a small envie and write your name and address on one side of it. On the other side, write instructions such as "take out two Inchies and add three". You can choose to have the person take or add as many as you wish.

Have numbered lines for persons who have participated to sign on. You can choose how many lines you want to offer, just make sure your bag is large enough to hold that many Inchies when full.

Indicate that the last person to sign should send it home. You can include any other instructions, such as whether or not the Inchies should be made by the swapper or if you accept pass alongs.

Put your three (or however many you indicated) Inchies inside the envie. I usually start a new bag with a few extras to give the first recipient more from which to choose. This is your Inchie bag.

Put the Inchie bag (envie) inside another envie to mail to your swap partner.

You will receive a bag from your other partner. You will select Inchies to keep, and add additional ones to the bag. Hold onto the bag until another swap opportunity. Then you will send it along its way.

Too bad this is not USA only-I would join if so

I know - with postage rates so high I prefer USA only, too, but I do love to get stamps from other countries. And with inchies the envie shouldn't cost too much to send, maybe!

Its not just the postage costs for me which being on a limited budget-I don't have "Wheels" to get to the post office when I need to go so I'm out sending international or canada for 2 reasons :(

Question - How many recipients will the bag (envelope) be passed on to? That's what I am not understanding. Do we sent to 1 partner and the partner passes it on. How does this work? I know it's a crazy question but I've never done a bag swap. Would love to join this one.

When you make the bag, you decide how many people will have it before it is sent home to you. Usually 5 or 6. In the meantime, you will receive a bag from someone in this swap. I'll host a second swap, and you will pass the bag you have received along in that second swap.

@Wenturner71 - Thank you!

fyi...all US signups so far...although I for one would welcome non-US...don't think the postage will be more than the standard $1.10.

Yes, everyone in this swap is US, so I will make the next swap USA only.
