Description:

To start- this is a very time intensive swap and the sign up and send by dates reflect this

For this swap we will create a selection of lists for your partner. It will serve as an inspiration source for them when they are struggling in the crafting or real world. Choose at least 12 of these topics and neatly write or type the answers and explanations if needed. How you choose to send this to your partner is up to you- either using a premade notebook, hand binding a small journal, making a mini-smash book type object, the possibilities are endless. Please nicely decorate your swap, this is supposed to serve as an inspiration for them.

1.Top 15 favorite songs
2. 13 movies everyone should watch
3. 10 best non-fiction books
4. 15 best fiction books
5. 10 smartphone apps you use constantly
6. 5 favorite pen types to use
7. 20 things that make you happy
8. 10 non-traditional objects you have used in crafts (such as bottle caps or flyer scraps)
9. Your top five favorite clothing/accessory brands
10. 22 things in your purse right at this moment (don’t explain any oddities it makes it funnier)
11. A 15 song playlist based off your partner’s profile
12. 5 favorite colors and why
13. 5 favorite tv shows
14. 20 journal prompts for your partner
15. 5 quotes that inspire you
16. What do you want to be “when you grow up”
17. What famous person, living or dead, serves as an inspiration to you in something and why?
18. 5 favorite nail polish or lipstick colors (actual name and brand name both)
19. Favorite class you took in high school/university and why
20. Any weird obsessions? write about them (check partner’s profiles, I know some people do not share my affinity for gorey serial murders)
21. 10 favorite candies- any particular flavor in the candy?
22. 10 songs you cannot stand
23. 5 favorite artists
24. 10 places you want to see before you die
25. A list of at least 7 places in your city (or a nearby one if you live in a smaller town) someone should visit that isn’t normally on tourist guides
26. 5 favorite swaps you participated in (this is more for the mentors than the newbies!)
27. 3 places you have visited and LOVED
28. 3 clothing items you cannot live without
29. 7 favorite websites to visit (let’s not all list swap-bot, we know we all love it!)
30. 12 things you want to do this summer

You are of course welcome to add more topics than just 12 or that are listed here, the only requirement is that at least entries, with at least 12 topics coming from the above list. Beyond the lists you can add art, photos, envies of small surprises like confetti, or other things you want to add. This is sender’s choice but do take a moment to look at your partner’s profile and avoid any major dislikes they may have.

On the matter of crafting and creation- use a STRONG adhesive. Cut lines neatly, consider the layout before you begin. Simple steps like this will take your swaps to a whole new level. Also, good packaging is a MUST. Spending 12 hours on an altered book and then mailing it without bubble wrap or padding is asking for disaster. Consider this!

This is not supposed to be a terribly expensive swap, rather a time intensive one that shows you how intense but gratifying some swaps can be in a SAFE environment.

Remember to take shipping costs into account when creating your collection- this may not be the time to hand bind a book with 50 sheets of watercolor paper and a wood cover.

I love this idea. It's too big a commitment for me right now, but if it's done again in the future I hope I will be able to join.

I really wanted to do this swap, but just can't swing international postage right now. Hope you all have fun with it!

I'm afraid I can't spare the international postage right now, either. I'm also hoping for a future swap or US only version.
