Memorial Day ATC

The theme for this ATC is Memorial Day. Following paragraph is from Wikipedia. Memorial Day is a day of remembering the men and women who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. Formerly known as Decoration Day, it originated after the American Civil War to commemorate the Union and Confederate soldiers who died in the Civil War. By the 20th century Memorial Day had been extended to honor all Americans who have died in all wars.

This ATC is not about the start of summer so no picnics or summer stuff or shopping malls or fireworks. Fireworks are for the 4th of July. I grew up around WWII veterans and the American Legion and Memorial Day was a big day for the community. So I am kinda of touchy when someone says Memorial Day is the start of summer, it goes much deeper than that.
