Do you proofread your email for punctuation before you send it? Does it get on your nerves when people write "your" when they mean "you're"? Have you ever wanted to correct a shop sign offering to sell you "BOOK'S" or "LEMON'S"? Did you love Lynne Truss’s book Eats, Shoots and Leaves? (Do you appreciate that, in spite of the awkwardness of three consecutive S's, I wrote the correct form: "Truss's"?) Do you like the panda joke? (Or, if you haven't heard the panda joke, do you think you could like a joke about a gun-toting panda and a misplaced comma?) If you answered yes to any of these questions, you're probably a punctuation stickler, and this is the ATC swap for you. We will be making ATCs on the theme of punctuation. They can be in any medium, and I encourage you to interpret the theme any way you want. You might use a large punctuation mark as the focus of your creations. You might use your cards to share your favorite punctuation rules. You might make a card based on a smiley, which is a form of punctuation art. :-) (You might even include a panda.) Anything punctuation-related goes. Have fun with this one. We will be making 2 cards each for 2 partners--4 cards total. International. 4.5 rating or higher. Open to newbies with filled-out profile, and even to non-sticklers with a sense of humor. (If you spot any punctuation errors in this swap description, please let me know.) |
