Description:

This is a swap for anyone that loves gems, minerals & crystals! I think a lot of pagan's might enjoy this swap or even if you are just into pretty stones or practice New Age or alternative healing techniques!

When you first join this swap you MUST immediately add - below in the comments section - 3 or 4 colors you would like your stone to be. Your partner (when they are assigned) will look for your name below and then go buy you a stone that they choose for you based on one of the colors you have listed.

The stone should be specially purchased for your partner. Most stones are rather inexpensive so this should not be very costly, I would say under $5.00.

The stone that you buy for your partner should be at least around the size of a walnut. I understand that walnuts are round and most stones have odd shapes, especially those that are 'in the rough', but I just want to give a basic idea of what the size should be. In other words, no pea-sized, tiny-little, have-to-squint-to-see-it kind of stones! ;o) They can be bigger, just not smaller than about the size of a walnut.

The gem, mineral or crystal can be smooth & polished, cut or in the rough. Please no stones that have been cut into an animal, heart or any other unnatural shape! No glitter or anything added, no writing on it or etching in it! We want these to be as natural as possible.

Please, please, please find out the name of the gem, mineral or crystal and include it with the stone!!! We all want to know what we have received from our partners! If you are feeling extra-generous you can write down or print out some information about the stone - the attributes, properties, meanings, etc of the stone. But this is not necessary, the name however, is.

I am giving 1 month to find and mail the stone to your partner - that should be more than enough time!

I do check profiles & I will ban anyone who has not added their colors to the comments section by the time partners are to be assigned! It doesn't matter if you have extensive information on your profile, you still must add 3 to 4 colors that you want your stone to be in the comments section.

Please package you stone well (maybe with bubble wrap) so the Post Office doesn't destroy it on the way.

Any questions, please send me a PM. Thank you & I hope everyone enjoys this swap! :o)

I would love my stone to be any of the following colors -

  • Blue
  • Green
  • A mix of colors
KristinCali 09/ 4/2013 #

ANY color is ok with me!
But my fave colors are green and black.

Fenriss 09/ 4/2013 #

I prefer red, orange, black, or especially anything "opalescent"!

charophyta 09/ 4/2013 #

Ooohh how about purple, yellow, or blue? If it is mixed with other colors or opalescent that's good too!

girlpicasso 09/ 5/2013 #

blue, green, or yellow....unless something else stands out to you.

PrairieKittin 09/ 5/2013 #

Trying to pick a color is harder than I thought it would be! I like stones with character, rather than just one color. Something unusual. Mixed colors or unusual shapes. If I had to pick a specific color, I'd say maybe pinks or blues?

candigirl 09/ 5/2013 #

I love moonstone, so I guess that would be white-ish. Also love clear crystals, purple, or green.

xNurseNinax 09/ 5/2013 #

I would say:
Black
Red
Purple
Green
This is gonna be fun! Great swap @Jeanland

I want to let everyone know that we will be having someone from Canada joining the swap. BUT they have a US address that they will be using so NO ONE will have to send to Canada. I just wanted to inform everyone just in case someone noticed that one of the members of this swap is from Canada. I have approved them to join since the address their partner will be sending to is in the USA.

Any questions, let me know! :o)

I like purple, blues, browns or any other colour. I love rocks so much it does not really matter about the colour - what you pick will be great with me.

anandatashie 09/13/2013 #

Smoky, rainbow hues (natural, not added), yellow, green. (If you have the choice between tumbled and rough, I prefer rough / natural. I'll be happy with whatever you send though. :D)

Seaglass 09/13/2013 #

I love the more muted natural colors, clear, ect. But I will be thrilled with what you choose also:).

MARY 09/15/2013 #

I love all crystals. I will be happy to receive whatever you think is wonderful!

JediLibrarian 09/15/2013 #

I love purples, blues and reds. Anything with a bit of sparkle is also welcome. I use stones in terrariums at the library where I work. The kids love wild colors and odd shapes!

Hag53 09/16/2013 #

I love all crystals/minerals and have a huge collection. I will leave what you send to you and assume it is the one I'm supposed to receive... thanks!

Bizzitybam 09/16/2013 #

I'd prefer it if you picked something that stood out to you and please, please tell me why. Did you like the color?Did it stand out to you from across the room? Has this stone's healing properties in the past?
I will love anything you said as long as you choose it with love :)

Bizzitybam 09/16/2013 #

Wow, Check out all those typos... Let's try again..

I'd prefer it if you picked something stood out to you and PLEASE tell me why! Did you like the color? Did it call to you from across the room? Has the stone's healing properties helped you in the past? I will love anything you send as long as you choose it with love! <3 :)
