Day of the Dead ATC

Day of the Dead (Spanish: Día de Muertos) is holiday celebrated throughout Mexico and around the world in other cultures on November 1 and 2. The holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died.

Traditions connected with the holiday include building private altars honoring the deceased using sugar skulls, marigolds, and the favorite foods and beverages of the departed and visiting graves with these as gifts. They also leave possessions of the deceased.

Make ONE ATC to celebrate this day. Your design must include a skull or person's face decorated like a skull. Make it colorful, make it handmade ~ Be creative. No stickers allowed!

Back your ATC with sturdy card and write 1-swap name, 2-your name/Swap-bot name and location and 3-the date on the back.
