Russian Doll Art Swap

Thanks to Briarstitch84 for this lovely idea!!! The Trace Hand Art Swap was a lot of fun so I thought I would do the same for a Matryoshka, or Russian doll!

For this swap you will have one partner. Newbies welcome, but I will be checking profiles. I cannot angel for these as it is very time intensive. If you have any doubts, please pass.

You will do the following:

Draw a Matryoshka on any size paper, card-stock, cardboard,or fabric, etc.

Fill in your Russian doll with any sort of artwork. It can describe you, your style, your favorite things, colors, etc. Can be abstract. Can be zentangle inspired.

You may use any medium for your design, markers, pens, mixed media, paint, fabric, felt, embroidery, etc.

Please do not fold your artwork! Send in an envelope unfolded!

Write your name and swap on the back. You may include a note about your art piece, how you made it, why you designed it the way you did. You can be as creative as you wish, write a poem about it or a memoir.

If this does well, I might start doing themed matryoshka swaps!
