I love granny squares and I love collecting granny squares. You can do so many things with them (I have BIG plans for mine)!

This will be a monthly swap (I hope), with themes each month.

For this swap, we'll be swapping 2 granny squares; 1 for each partner. Sender's choice for colors AND design. It does not have to be a traditional square. Knitting is more than welcome, as well.

For this swap, the size will be 7"x7". Please try to make your squares as close to this size as possible.

Colors and design is sender's choice.

2 total squares will be made and swapped, 1 to each partner (just so we're clear ^_^). They don't have to be the same. Be as creative or traditional as you like.

Yarn used must be 4 Ply/Worsted Weight acrylic.

This swap is SENDER'S CHOICE and INTERNATIONAL. Shipping shouldn't cost very much seeing as the squares are so light.

Whatever you do, please put some thought into the squares. Make something that you would want to receive.

Ratings: To participate, please have your profile filled out (I will be checking), at least a 4.8 rating and 3 Type 3 swaps. No recent unexplained 3s (in the last 6 months) and no 1s. I know that may seem strict, but I really want everyone to be as comfortable as they can be during this swap.

Anyone that doesn't meet these requirements, but wants to participate, PM me and I'll be happy to do a private swap with you to help get your ratings up.

I reserve the right to drop anyone from the swap that doesn't meet these requirements after signups have closed.

Please rate fairly. If you got the granny squares, but didn't like them, please do not rate down. If you got a square, but it doesn't meet the size requirements or it looks as if it wasn't put together with any thought at all, well that's not exactly deserving of a 5. Just be nice in whatever rating you give. The world depends on the kindness of strangers.

I will angel this swap if you don't receive, but only after you've tried contacting your partner, it's been at least a month and a half since the send date and you've rated them a 1. But let's hope no one flakes.

Flaking makes kittens cry. Don't do that. It's not cool.
