This is the first in a monthly series of Pre-Schooler’s Coloring Page Swaps. It is designed to give the Pre-schooler in your life a little fun in the form of mail. The kids all learn about the mailman and woman, and what they do, when they are in Pre-school and they all love to receive their very own mail!

Note: This swap is meant for members (including International) with young children, ages 3-6. I don’t really mean to be exclusionary, and if I upset anyone, please accept my apologies.

January’s theme is Snowmen and Weather!! If you live in an area that does not get snow, you might want to look for coloring pages that are Weather related. Most Pre-School programs cover weather during the month of January. If your child is in Pre-school, ask the teacher if she has any weather related coloring pages. Weather related free coloring pages can also be found online at many Pre-School Curriculum sites.

The exchange is with 5 partners, so you will send out 5 coloring pages and your child will receive 5 coloring pages. If you like, you could send a short letter from your child to the recipient child, letting them know your child’s name, age, if they have pets, etc. General information.

Please leave your child’s name (FIRST NAME ONLY) and their age in the comment section below, so that the partners can know, so they can send accordingly. If your child’s name does not clearly indicate that they are boy or girl, please list that as well. (The name Sydney, for instance, can be male or female.) The card should be addressed to the child’s first name, then underneath their name, ‘c/o’ and the member’s name and address. (You can also just write the child’s name on the envelope, place that envelope into a bigger one and mail it all to the parent member.)

My child is Liv, age 3 (well, she'll turn 3 in January :) ).

Mail can be addressed directly to her if you wish (instead of being put in a bigger envelope).

She will be so excited to get mail! Great idea!

I'm not a part of this but wanted to tell you how great of an idea I think this is! I don't have kids, but I hope when someday I do, they will get to take part in projects like this :D

this is a good idea for swap. if you do another i would love to participate in it. as it is right now i have too many swaps/ xmas stuff to get out in the next month.

I think this is a wonderful idea. I am a pre-school teacher and i have a 3 year old and he will be 4 in March (his name is Trey) and i was wondering if i could send out a snowman that you build after you color it?

I think anything that you can color would be fine. The fact it is also a craft could be a bonus. :-) Just my thoughts. We, Kassi and I, are looking forward to this one.

Not overly happy with this one. As Kassi has only recieved two out of five. I will wait till the first of the month before I leave a rating. Hope it is just mail delay. If you sent yours late, please let me know so I can give you extra time. Thanks.

Recieved one today from MI. Had several pages in it of cute little skating characters. Thank you for them, she was so happy to get your letter. not sure who it was from, she destroyed the envelope all I noticed it was from MI. Could you let me know who it is from so I can give you credit for it. Thank you for the coloring pages!!
