For this swap ~ You must have a Pinterest account. For the swap you will have at least 3 partners (if there are around 4 or 5 total that sign up, I'll change it so that we will just send to all) and will message here (or email, but messaging might be better so you know it's received) your link to your Pinterest board. This weeks theme ~ Favorite Book Series!! If you are like me, you may read a TON of series, so let's do a board of your favorite series. Please list only the 1st book of the series, not multiple books from the same series. Multiple series from the same author is allowed. Make a Pinterest board of all your Favorite Book Series to send it to your partner. The board must have at LEAST 30 pins (note ~ this is for 30 pins) all of your Favorite Series! No rating requirements as it's in the group. Please send on time, late sends may ban you from further swaps. Be on the lookout for other Pinterest swaps, coming soon!

I'm a little confused... are we doing favorite stand alone books or favorite series? The swap says both, but those are two opposite things in my mind.

Also, instead of putting the first book from a series, can we just show one image of all the books together, like in a boxed set, to represent the series?

A Pin with all the books or multiple ones together in one is fine. I just don't want to see 43 pins of each of J.D. Robb's Eve Duncan series, for example. Just different series, 1 pin for each, either together or alone. :)

@ImzadiRose Brilliant. Makes sense. Thank you! I'm struggling to find 30 at the moment... I've been stuck on 27. Must do some more thinking or lower my standards on what I call "favorite" :-)

I had to do that with my stand alones. I read a lot more series, so it was easier for me. I had to add some not so favorite favorites to the stand alones last time. :D

If you struggle too much, let me know and I'll decrease it to 25. :)

I'm not sure I could even come close to thirty, but I'll make up a board while I'm watching and see how many I can come up with. This may be a stupid question, but is there a minimum number of books that make something a series? (i.e. does a trilogy count? What about 2 just books?)

Trilogy can count. 2 is fine if there plans to be more. Like the Divergent series is fine because a 3rd is coming. It just can't completely stand alone, there's gotta be at least one followup.

I have one that is only 2 books and it's a finished "series," but I'm going to leave it because I'm up to 32 on my board. sigh of relief So that'll be a bonus :-)

20 or 25 would be much more doable for me also. I'm watching and wondering if I can come up with enough.

It's great how diverse everyone's reading is here. I did 30 series, EASY. That was just my favorites, I could have done another 30 with ones I really liked. I like series.

I'll be setting partners at midnight, if you join up fruitbat I'll decrease it, otherwise I'll leave it at 30 unless those who joined want me to lower it.
