Description:

I enjoy making these little treasure chests from matchboxes if you do to then this is the swap for you.

Ok so rather then taking them and making shrines, pendants or filling them you will be, making a little treasure chest to send to your swap partner. You will then put a little something in each drawer.

The treasure chests are simple to make and once you've made one you will be addicted.I have provided links below to get you started. To make it fair for everyone please use a minimum of 12 matchboxes. Please check your partners profile to see what they like.

This is open to international players because they are light weight and easy to send.

Persons with no sends or below 4.0 will be emailed. Please dont sign up if you cant follow through.

some of the links dont work just as you pasted them, but if you just search "matchbox" in the site that comes up, they are not that hard to find.

those are very helpful. i cant wait to get started!

Here are some better instructions for those of you who may be new to making them.

So what do people do with all of their leftover safety matches after you empty the 12 or more boxes of matches? I keep the large safety matches in small glass jars for kitchen, fireplace and campfire use--and also have a butane "match' to light candles but can't think of a good use for all of the little matches I will have after making a few matchbox treasure chests! Any ideas and suggestions will be most welcome!

Good question! I was just wondering that myself.
