a verse that helped me through a tough time

for this swap we will choose a bible verse that helped us through a time in our life whether it was a praise time or a comfort time. it is a swap that you can work on as soon as you sign up for you dont need to know anything about your partner to do it. it is a cheap swap and should only cost a stamp.

Present this verse to our partners in a special way, eg. make it into an atc size card that they can carry in their wallet, use magnetic tape and turn it into a fridge magnet, make it into a small poster and laminate it or a bookmark and laminate it. put it into a handmade greetings card or make a postcard out of it.

Then on a separate piece of paper send a letter with the verse on explaining how it helped you through.

To explain that a little let me share. When i traveled overseas i was afraid of the plane flight. while i was reading one day i got the verse in Joshua 1:9 that said have i not commanded you, be not afraid for the Lord your God is with you where ever you go. ( note this isnt a direct quote!) We have all had an experience in life where a specific verse has carried us through. choose that verse and time to share with your partners. you can use the same verse for each partner or a different one.
