Description:

Print a photo at home and send it as a postcard.

It can be a photo you took or one you found online, just so you mention where you got it. It can be a regular photo, or one you modified with a graphics program.

Either glossy or matte paper is fine, as long as it's a good quality print. Send it as is, or attach it to cardstock to make it sturdier. No embellishments.

Photo subject is sender's choice, but send something you think your partner will like.

No professionally printed cards please.

Does "No professionally printed cards please" mean you can't have your photo printed at someplace like Costco, WalMart, or Walgreens?

digitalmaven 10/29/2013 #

Gingerlei: Correct. This is for photos you've printed yourself at home. It could be done on a photo printer and with photo paper, but no photo lab prints.

I posted this swap as a little experiment, and I wanted to keep the costs down initially. Depending on how it goes, I might try another round, possibly with photo lab prints allowed and/or international members included.

Can we put an embellishment on the written side?

digitalmaven 11/ 3/2013 #

jewnbugg: As long as it's flat, like a stamped image or washi tape or something, that's ok. Just nothing dimensional.
