This is my first time hosting a swap and I am a little nervous. I have seen a lot of Christmas swaps for the USA only. I thought I would try one for Canada. Make a Christmas goodie box for your partner that could include anything from: Stickers socks hot cocoa something with Santa on it Christmas candy your favorite cookie recipe for the holidays some kind of Christmas paper a Christmas dish towel a special Christmas ornament for your partners tree. anything Christmas that would make you smile A Christmas journal Dollar store items are okay but make sure that they are nice. Spend between $5 to $10. Send a little note in your box with Christmas wishes.

Is the budget (between $5 to $10) before postage? Also, I find that from my experience hosting, using ranges for budgets just doesn't work.. it works better to say... "you MUST spend $7 on this swap before postage" Giving an exact number makes it more fair for everyone. Just a tip ;)

Also, because it is a fairly high budget, maybe you should include a rating minimum. I like to automatic rating system, but make sure you tell your swappers what you are setting it to.

Sorry miissc just saw your messages........I know that at Christmas budgets can be tight so the $10 can include the postage.....Thanks for the advice
